Diary of a Fainter

Monday
Wow. What a day.
I just wanted to say that
about an ordinary day, sky
blue and round and all that. Broke
my toe on a chair -- saw
stars -- pinky toe at right angles --
spent time on the floor in the bathroom
looking at grout and tile and shag
mat -- all good for making
designs on a face. Now
that is being in shock. Mmm.

Tuesday
The weirdest thing about
today was the heat. I kept
going down for the count -- turn
green, lie down next to
the bike path. Most stop and
ask if I'm ok. Everyone
is so nice. Now that
is heat exhaustion.

Wednesday
Haven't eaten for a while.
Standing in line
at the grocery store,
I passed out. Things got
all fuzzy first. I can't
say if it was low
blood sugar or dehydration.

Thursday
Today it was definitely
dehydration that took
me out at the bank. All
that cold marble looked
so wet.

Friday
Got hit by a car.
Am in coma.
More later.
