Winter's flotsam: the leaves pile up on this side of the house and end up going wide. Andy will walk through them to get to the stairs. Carrie will consider her options and walk around them. She's not prissy and doesn't have any sort of aversion to touching other kinds of dirty things, but she doesn't like touching stuff outside (except dead worms apparently). Andy just wants to climb.

Not really a traffic jam as Andy's feet don't touch the pedals. We do, however, lack a good riding surface outside. Carolyn is already good at turns and I expect Andy to get that way as well. Imagine learning to ride a bike on a small triangle.
