Pre-Christmas Christmas

Presents were opened early this year for a variety of reasons -- the least of which were an impatient father and sick children who "needed" cheering up.

This was taken just before Andy got his first wasp sting. Later, after one more sting for him and three for me, we banned the use of it. The wasps came out only when Andy was in the swing. Where is the nest? Why Andy? What are we feeding that baby? No, the nest is not in the decrepid apple tree. Not in one of the mole tunnels. See that yellow plastic bar on the baby swing? The nest is in there.

I'm nine months pregnant here and just finishing up an app for work. I went into labor that night, but took a bath to help the pain. I read later that early labor can be stopped with a warm bath -- they're right! Andy was born a day and a half later, August 4, 2002.
