04/21/2007 Archived Entry: New Poem Night
I love new poem night. It usually ends up being a short show, but it always (and by definition) brings out something new. It's so open-mic-y. Vernell called it raw. I love open-mic-y things. I went last night and, for the record, read "Employee Review" by myself (ta da!) and "Ritual", a team piece I wrote, with Donielle.
Short and sweet. Nice conversation afterward, then I went home.
What I missed: Joanna and Paul did the "Circus of the Cool" last night. I'm guessing Vernell and Gina went over to see it after getting a bite to eat. But I missed it and I'll have to live with that and see if there are any re-caps.
