I've been getting a lot of comment spam lately -- the kind that must be entered manually. Weird.
So I've started banning IP addresses. Then I broke one of the cgi files. Now I just fixed it. If you have had trouble posting a comment, it's because I broke the journal for a day. If you have trouble now, it might be because of a banned IP address, but I didn't ban zero IP addresses, so ... I don't feel like explaining why that means few if anyone legitimate would now have trouble. The possibility exists. Let me know if you do have trouble commenting: Loui526 AT Yahoo DOT com.
I started this week at a dead run and now just feel like curling up in the little yellow room (I'm not going to explain that either) and sleeping the day away. Why so tired?
I had my successful feature Monday, then went out till late to meet with my MPSL "squad" teammates to organize the trip on Wednesday and get a team piece together (Vernell did the work, but Gina and I kept her company). Tuesday, I was getting stuff ready for Wednesday. Wednesday I sprinted through my abbreviated work day and left early to pick up Gina and Vernell. Then we drove five hours to Sturgis, MI, lost the function of the driver-side window -- so it was a breezy drive (I not going to explain this any further) -- had a big bout in a smoky room. We lost! It was great! My teammates rock! Then we drove five hours back to OH. I dropped everyone off, got home at 4:00 am. Thursday, up at 7:00 am, I was going to spend asleep after getting Andy to daycare and Carrie to Kindergarten, and then play with the kids, but instead I spent the day getting the window fixed and then an evening with the kids. Also, last night was the first Writers' Block night at its new venue and I wasn't going to go, but, lured by calls from a teammate and from Scott, I came out late late and did the team piece from Wednesday for the home crowd. This morning I woke up at 5:30 am blink blink that was not even seven hours, too much to do. Now at work and already done with two work-related things, yes, now I think I could sleep.

How did I get to be a party animal through poetry, I don't know. It should slow down a touch now. I don't plan to go to anyting till Friday at least.
