05/20/2005 Archived Entry: Reading, No Reading

So many of the invited poets to last night's Fetters' Run reading didn't show up, that it was cancelled sometime during our commute to Lancaster. James ended up playing agnostic-Jesus to the five who were there. He entranced all around with his thoughts about American Evangelicals, evolution, intelligent design, and their ultimate goal of taking down the big boys of science -- Physics, Chemistry, Geology. I put in a few words about the history of Catholicism. Zelda played with our children and fed them smoothies and pastries.

Thanks, Zelda. It was fun. Best non-reading I've ever been to.

Jamie is my hero.

And I'm glad you had a good time. I would say I'm disappointed that I missed out on such a discussion, but I'd be lying because I played with the cutest kids ever.
